From school drop out to national elections & historic referendums

Pablo O'Hana, once described by his opposition as "unbearable and soul-draining" in a leaked email, has defied the traditional educational route to become a seminal figure in political strategy working on 25 elections and referendums across the UK, Ireland, Europe and America.

Despite facing significant challenges in his education—being hospitalised on his first day of high school, resitting his maths exam five times, and dropping out of college—Pablo's career trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable.

Starting in public relations with the then lesser-known actor Billie Piper and helping transform her career into a critically acclaimed, record-breaking, multi-award-winning Broadway sensation, Pablo's drive and ingenuity quickly saw him rise through the ranks of political campaigns.

He has masterminded over 25 elections and historic referendums across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US, including the pivotal 2016 UK/EU referendum and Ireland's 2018 vote on abortion rights. His strategic acumen and innovative approaches have revolutionised political communications, making him a respected figure in shaping public opinion and policy decisions.

Currently, as the founder and director of Apostrophe Campaigns, Pablo leads a successful agency known for its impactful and creative strategies that have influenced elections and swayed public policies across Europe. His work has not only led to significant political shifts but also earned him a place in the media as a sharp commentator and analyst, contributing to outlets like the BBC, Sky, The Guardian, Metro and The Independent.

Most recently, Pablo worked on the 2024 US Presidential campaign for Kamala Harris.
